I’ll keep this short: Nour’s campaign has been stagnating and Tumblr keeps banning her accounts. If you can, please consider donating. She has five young children to care for (one immunocompromised), and many members of her extended family—who were already poor before the war broke out—now rely on this fundraiser to make it through the winter.
Currently: $34,770 / $90,000
For vetting info, look here.
Currently: $35,751 / $90,00
Nour’s campaign is stagnating again, and she need the funds to help her family survive the winter (warm clothes can cost up to $400 per person). Please share and donate if you’re able.
$37,515/$90,000 as of November 8th
Currently $485 away from $38,000 as a short term goal
please consider donating even just $5, $10, or $20 to help the fundraiser along further! And reblog/share the campaign so that others who can donate may see it!

I, Bex, live with my girlfriend, Amber, in a little found family completed by my family friend, Ty, who came to live with me after being kicked out for being trans as a teenager. My home provides a haven for us and houses the dozen rescue cats we own between us.
Amber is a retired firefighter with 13 years of service, and cannot work due to a disability (we are currently applying again for government assistance, but her therapist told her it would be a year wait, minimum, before her application is even considered). She also struggles with chronic pain as she was just diagnosed with avn (avascular necrosis – essentially dead bone tissue in her knee/femur). Ty has only been able to find work part-time in food service, with the promise of a full-time job in their future. I am a teacher who was barely keeping afloat before being out of work for four months last year.
I have returned to teaching and have caught up on most bills. However, my house is currently in foreclosure and I will need to pay the bank $7k plus lawyers fees (another $1-2k) in order to keep our home. Amber and Ty have been cut off from most family and have nowhere to stay. My only option will not allow either of them or our cats. Losing the house means losing my furbabies and leaves Amber and Ty homeless, for both of whom I have tried my best to provide a roof since they have been forced out of their homes. I know things are tight for everyone, so please only give if you can. Every bit would be appreciated! The first $7k would go directly to saving the house, with any after that going to repair my AC (summer in the south without central air has been ROUGH) and hot water heater (the one upside of summer in the South). Donations, shares, prayers, or well-wishes all mean the world to us. Thank you!!
(Note: the Gofundme is more vague for safety reasons, but I can provide receipts of all above info upon request)

somewhere lost in the clouded annals of history lies a place that few have seen, a mysterious place called the unknown, where long-forgotten stories are revealed to those who travel through the wood…

with another plane crash and people losing lives - as a flight attendant, i can’t stress this enough - DO NOT TAKE YOUR LUGGAGE WITH YOU DURING THE EVACUATION!!!
i get it, you have your wallet there, your phone, your passport. what you don’t have there is your life and the life of people you are putting at risk. going down the slide with your suitcase is extremely dangerous, what is even more dangerous is send it before you - people are literally throwing bags on other people who are still on the slide. the weight limits are usually around 10kg, you do not want someone to throw 10kilos on your head.
not to mention, you are delaying the evacuation, you are delaying other people from getting to safety.
let’s not forget how much pressure you are putting on us - your crew. we have 90 seconds to get everyone off the plane. we don’t have time to discuss with you, if you would be so kind and left you bag on board (you’ve been told during the boarding btw, several times). we are under pressure AND we want to get out as well, because trust me, you don’t even begin to understand the danger you are in. if you are scared? trust me, we are terrified. and we still do our job, so please don’t make this hard on us, even if you don’t see fire. you don’t smell smoke. we aren’t in the water. if we tell you to leave everything on board and jump? you better jump.
now - from human point of view i get that leaving your personal items behind, in strange country, is scary. what i do, and i recommend it, is small, over the shoulder (hand)bag, with just your passport, phone and wallet. i doubt anyone would try to take that from you, it’s quite safe as it’s on your body and you can leave your bigger luggage on board.
so please remember, leave your stuff on board, it is not a joke. it’s not something we made up because we wanted to bother you. it’s because we want everyone (and ourselves) to getting out of there alive.
